In Mongolia, the first death from COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic was recorded, Xinhua News Agency reports, citing the Republican Ministry of Health.
A 76-year-old woman who was treated in one of the medical institutions in Ulan Bator died.
The patient’s main illnesses were reported to be chest muscle weakness, severe respiratory and cardiovascular failure, high blood pressure, as well as diabetes and chronic hepatitis C.
Coronavirus has been identified as a co-morbidity.
In total, 1195 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in Mongolia since the beginning of the epidemic, 824 patients have recovered.
