Filming for The Lord of the Rings TV series based on the novel of the same name by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Filming began at the beginning of this year, but a month later the filming process had to be interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In September, filming was resumed again, and at the end of December, Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona posted a photo on his Instagram account, which shows that the filming of the series ended in early December.
In the photo you can see the director’s bare legs, and under the photo he wrote that this is the last shot from New Zealand.
One of the actors of the series, Jed Brophy, said that you come to this country as a man, and you leave as a hobbit. And here they will always be welcome.
