Fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh continues along the entire line of contact

The fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh is going on almost along the entire line of contact, said adviser to the President of the Republic David Babayan during a video broadcast of a thematic briefing on Facebook.

According to him, all attempts of the attackers to break through the defenses were thwarted, "the enemy suffered heavy losses in manpower and equipment."

Earlier, the head of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan stated that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in recent days were able to penetrate deep into the territory of the region in some areas of the front in the zone of the Karabakh conflict.

Let us remind you that the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh once again escalated on September 27. Armenia and Azerbaijan accuse each other of unleashing hostilities. On October 10, a ceasefire agreement entered into force, but later the parties accused each other of violating the ceasefire.

We add that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held talks with the Defense Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan and called on them to fulfill the agreements that were reached in Moscow during the talks of the Foreign Ministers.
