The ferry crossing Vanino (Khabarovsk Territory) – Kholmsk (Sakhalin), which connects the island with the mainland, is closed until the weather improves. This was reported by the press service of the regional GU EMERCOM of Russia.
The department clarified that the crossing does not work from 14.00 (06.00 Moscow time) on Monday “due to the deterioration of meteorological conditions in the Tatar Strait.”
“The movement of ferries will resume with the improvement of weather conditions,” – assured the Ministry of Emergencies.
