Federation Council assessed Kiev’s threats to turn Crimea into a “hellish” topic for Russia

Sergei Tsekov, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, on the air of Channel Five responded to the promise of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba to make Crimea a “hellish topic” for Russia in 2021.

“Constant incantations from the lips of various political figures of Ukraine from among the leaders are addressed to an inadequate and aggressive part of the Ukrainian people,” the senator said.

As Tsekov explained, in this case we are talking about nationalists, who, according to him, took over in the territory of the Ukrainian state. The politician is convinced that the entire administration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is now “in the service” of this particular part of society.

According to the representative of the Federation Council, the Ukrainian diplomat “fulfills orders” with such statements that come from abroad, including the United States.

On the eve of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that “the topic of the Crimea should be hellish for Russia, and not sacred,” promising to do everything possible for this. In this regard, Kuleba warned of increased international pressure on Moscow.

In turn, the official representative of the Russian ministry, Maria Zakharova, commenting on the words of her Ukrainian colleague, called his promise a message “from the underworld.”
