The Facebook social network, at the request of Roskomnadzor, removed a fake on the number of patients with coronavirus in Russia, according to the agency’s website.
The message indicates that on Wednesday, 19 March, after the notification of Roskomnadzor, “the social network Facebook deleted inaccurate socially significant information regarding the number of patients with coronavirus”.
At the same time, it is not specified what information caused the claim. It is only known that it concerns the number of patients with COVID – in Russia.
The notification of the social network was sent after receiving the corresponding request from the Prosecutor General.
In addition, Roskomnadzor demanded that Twitter remove the fake about the alleged curfew in Moscow due to the coronavirus.
