Most of those infected with coronavirus in Russia recently returned from vacation. This is 90% of those infected, said the chief allergist and immunologist of the Russian Ministry of Health, academician Rakhim Khaitov.
According to him, people return from tours and bring infection to their regions.
Khaitov called this inevitable due to the huge crowds on the beaches and in restaurants, where not everyone is wearing masks.
The academician noted that since there is no specific medicine for coronavirus infection, it is necessary to strictly monitor compliance with quarantine measures: wear masks, gloves and avoid crowded places.
"In China, only due to very strict discipline, there is almost no coronavirus," TASS quotes Khaitova.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health registered the maximum selling prices for drugs in our country for the treatment of COVID-19.
In particular, the drug "Avifavir" in a dosage of 200 mg will cost 5,000 rubles for 50 tablets. The price of Areplivir in the same dosage for 40 tablets will be 4,000 rubles.
