Ex-Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education Rakova brought new charges

Former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education Marina Rakova and Deputy Director General of the Foundation for New Forms of Education Development Yevgeny Zak have been charged with fictitious employment of people at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media portal.

According to the investigation, in 2018 the defendants entered into an agreement with the director of the Institute of Social Sciences of the RANEPA Sergei Zuev. The defendants entered into forged labor contracts between the institution and 12 employees of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

The cybercriminals took the salary that was charged from the budget to the fictitious employees. The damage from their activities exceeded 20 million rubles.

We will remind, the ex-Deputy Minister of Education Marina Rakova was detained on suspicion of fraud on an especially large scale, later she was charged with this episode. The Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested her until December 6.

Also, in the fraud case, they arrested Maksim Inkin and Yevgeny Zak, a legal adviser and teacher of the RANEPA Kristina Kryuchkova, who previously served as the executive director of Shaninka. They also sent Sergei Zuev under house arrest.
