According to the military expert of the Institute of CIS Countries Vladimir Evseev, British ships that entered the Black Sea would have been sunk immediately “with pleasure”. It is reported by Ukraina.ru.
Now the collective West is looking for options to “unblock” Odessa ports with the subsequent export of grain from there. However, according to the expert, based on the Montreux Convention, only two destroyer-class ships can enter the Black Sea. Therefore, in the event of the appearance in these waters of ships under the flag of Great Britain, the Russian Black Sea Fleet would have had the strength to send them to the bottom. Moreover, one of the destroyers was already running up to be sunk in the Black Sea.
In addition, the “unblocking of grain exports” in the Black Sea ports itself raises many questions, since grain from Odessa is exported by road and rail.
“And how are the inhabitants of Odessa going to sow grain next time, if they are deprived of their last reserves, hiding behind humanitarian issues? This is theft. They have already stolen Russian reserves that were abroad, and now they are trying to steal everything they can … As far as I know, Germany and Romania export grain from Ukraine. And what about Odessa?”, the expert asks.
Another question is that by doing so Britain wants to play with Russia on the nerves. But even if Russia sinks one or two of their destroyers, a nuclear war, according to Yevseev, still won’t start.
