The actor spoke about the work on the 2012 comedy, honoring the memory of director Maria Sahakyan.
The comedy of absurdity “Entropy” directed by Maria Sahakyan was released in 2013. Valeria Gai Germanicus, Danila Polyakov, starred in the film dedicated to the apocalyptic moods of bohemians. Diana Dell and Ksenia Sobchak. Yesterday, on the day of the three-year anniversary of the director’s death, the memory of Sahakyan, who died of cancer, was honored by Evgeny Tsyganov, who played in “Entropy” a simple guy nicknamed Vegetable, who watches with interest the suffering of the creative intelligentsia, which intends to make a movie about him during the coming of the Apocalypse …
According to Tsyganov, he did not immediately accept the invitation to star in such an extraordinary film. He did not understand either the author’s ideas or the fact that, for some reason, Ksenia Sobchak would play a male role in the plot. The actor referred to being busy, and before the start of filming, he almost refused to participate in the film. Nevertheless, he managed to transcend his beliefs and confide in the director, whom he called an amazing phenomenon in cinema.
“When we were filming Entropy, it seems to me that only now you begin to understand what kind of film it is, about the end of the world, with the inauguration at the end, when the empty city and these cars go. I generally wanted to refuse to participate in the film. I didn’t understand the introductory. I did not understand why Ksenia Anatolyevna Sobchak plays producer Pasha. I know that for this image they were looking for an artist for a very long time and suddenly Sobchak was approved. What for? And then I realized why it happened. She did it great, ”the actor shared his memories.

Tsyganov added that what Maria Sahakyan was doing, with whom he also starred in the film This Is Not Me, was very special, and this does not fit into the modern rhythm of life and the film industry. “Because we live in the era of film production, in which stars and media personalities are invited so that more people can see the picture, and it brings more money,” Tsyganov concluded in an interview with colleague Sahakyan and co-founder of Anniko Films Victoria Lupik on the company’s Instagram account.
We add that after “Entropy” Tsyganov starred in Valery Todorovsky’s series “The Thaw”, playing there the cameraman Khrustalev. The image was so prominent that the actor was considered a heartthrob. In 2014, on the set of the series “Where the Motherland Begins”, Evgeny met his beloved Yulia Snigir. Rumors began to circulate about the romance of the stars, and in 2016 the actress gave birth to a son from the actor Fedor… The artist left his wife Irina Leonova, in marriage with whom he had seven children. As Tsyganov recently admitted, the media love to discuss his personal life, and even publications dedicated to his work still end with the fact that Eugene left his pregnant wife.

Note that Tsyganov, despite reproaches that he is filming “with one face”, is a popular artist. Over the past year alone, he has starred in several high-profile projects. In the film by Alexei Uchitel “Choi”, the actor played a driver whose bus collided with the car of the leader of the “Kino” group. In the series “Terrible” he got the role of Tsar Ivan III. Yevgeny played the motorcycle racer Ivan in the comedy series Ivan, and the director of the film adaptation of Dead Souls, Grigory of Constantinople, chose him for the role of Chichikov. Also, the movie star can be seen in the series “Tenderness” and the comedy “How Nadia went to get vodka.”
