The head of the Estonian Ministry of Defense Kalle Laanet believes that the security of the European continent is “in danger” because of Russia, Sputnik reports.
“The eastern neighbor of the European Union does not want to live on its own and allow others to live in peace and democracy,” the minister said.
Laanet added that Estonia no longer needs to “defend itself alone” as the country has “strong allies”.
Earlier, the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö said that the demands of the Russian Federation to the United States and the North Atlantic Alliance for security guarantees cause concern in Europe and contradict the order formed there.
We add, British Security Minister Damian Hinds said that China, Russia and Iran are “hostile countries.”
