This week, talk show staff at 62-year-old famous American TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres complained about the offensive and illegal actions of its producers. They said that they often intimidated and discriminated against them on the basis of race. After the scandal became public and it became known that the show would be subjected to an internal investigation, Ellen wrote a public letter in which she apologized to the victims.

Hello everyone, this is Ellen. On the first day of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that The Ellen DeGeneres Show would be a place of joy: no one would ever raise their voices to anyone and everyone would be treated with respect. Obviously something has changed and I was disappointed when I found out. And I'm so sorry. Anyone who knows me understands that this is contrary to what I believe in and what I hoped to bring to our show,

- she noted.

DeGeneres noted that without her team, she would not have been able to achieve such success, and said that an internal investigation has already begun. She expressed hope that as a result of it, many problems will be corrected.

I am determined to ensure that this does not happen again. I also learn that the people who work with me are speaking on my behalf and misrepresenting who I really am, and that must stop. As someone who has been judged and almost lost everything because I was just who I am, I truly understand and have deep compassion for those who are looked at differently, or who are treated unfairly, or worse - ignored. It's horrible for me to think that any of you have had similar feelings,

Ellen continued.

The TV presenter said she was glad that the problems were brought to her attention and promised to take part in encouraging herself and others to develop and grow.

For me and for Warner Bros. it is important that everyone who has something to say can speak up and feel safe. I am very proud of the work we do and the fun and joy that we all bring to this world. I want everyone to love our show, and everyone who makes it love to work on it. I repeat that I am very upset that not everyone had this pleasant experience,

- noted DeGeneres.

After the scandal erupted, the show's executive producer Ed Glavin is rumored to be leaving his post.
