Figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva spoke about her plans for the future.
World champion in figure skating Elizaveta Tuktamysheva explained in an interview with the press service of the Russian Figure Skating Federation why she decided to continue her career.
“I want to learn more quads. I want to jump them, to overcome my fear. I want to try to get into the lutz, make a salchow, jump consistently with a sheepskin coat. If at the training camp in Armenia I was able to jump a sheepskin coat in a bad, slightly relaxed state, then other quads are possibleElizaveta Tuktamysheva said.
At the same time, she noticed that, as a professional athlete, she wants to squeeze the maximum out of her body. She is confident that her physiology will allow her to learn quadruple jumps and perform them successfully in the future. Tuktamysheva wants to prove, first of all, to herself that it is quite possible to perform quadruple jumps at her age. For her, this will be a small victory.
Recall that Elizaveta Tuktamysheva could not qualify for the Olympics in Beijing. In the 2021/22 season, she won silver at the Grand Prix stages in Canada and Russia.
