Egyptian President refused to extend the state of emergency in the country

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that he does not intend to extend the state of emergency introduced several years ago.

The politician explained his decision by the fact that the country has become “an oasis of stability and security in the region.” A record about this appeared on the page of the Egyptian president on the social network Facebook.

A state of emergency was introduced in Egypt in April 2017 after two major terrorist attacks, including in Alexandria. More than 50 people were killed and over 100 were injured.

After that, the head of state each time extended the state of emergency for three months.

Earlier it became known that Russian tourists bought up almost all the places in expensive hotels in Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh for the period of non-working days in the Russian Federation from late October to November 7. Regular flights to Egypt are almost fully loaded these days.
