EC takes control of export of all European vaccines against COVID-19

The European Commission has decided to take control of the sale abroad of vaccines produced in the community against the new coronavirus, reports TASS.

“From now on, all companies producing COVID-19 vaccines in the EU will be required to provide advance notifications when they want to supply vaccines to third countries,” the statement said.

It is noted that the measure will be in effect until the manufacturing companies fulfill their obligations on supplies to the EU countries.

Earlier, the President of the European Council Charles Michel said that the third vaccine against coronavirus in the European Union will be launched on the market next week.

Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that Russia hopes to register its vaccine with WHO in the near future.
