Russian military analysts spoke about the situation on the southern sector of the front.
According to experts, it is unlikely that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to develop an offensive against Kherson now, writes EADaily. There will be no offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region, they believe. This is because now the situation there has changed, since Russia has significantly increased its grouping of troops on the southern sector of the front.
At the same time, information appeared that Russian troops were able to advance near Nikolaev and Avdeevka. According to information from the southern front line, the RF Armed Forces were able to advance along the Snigirevka-Nikolaev railway line (20 km west of the R-81 highway). As a result of this operation, Blagodatnoye is now under the control of the RF Armed Forces, as well as several settlements between the Belozerka gully and the Verevchina river.
Having taken such positions, the Russian troops can hit Nikolaev and the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the city, since now the distance from the central regions of Nikolaev to the Russian group ranges from 17 to 25 kilometers.
Nevertheless, the Ukrainian authorities are confident that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to achieve a turning point and return all territories occupied by Russian troops to the control of Ukraine.
