Duda said he does not recognize the agreements between Germany and Belarus

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Poland does not recognize the agreements between Germany and Belarus on the migration crisis, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, he told German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier that Poland does not recognize any agreements that will be reached “over its head.”

The Polish leader added that Warsaw agrees to fulfill the agreements reached as a result of negotiations, in which Poland is directly involved.

On the eve of the head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko offered the acting German Chancellor Angela Merkel options for resolving the migration crisis during a telephone conversation. The parties agreed that they would not disclose details yet. Angela Merkel took a break to discuss the relevant issue with EU members. Next, another telephone conversation should take place between the leaders of the countries.
