Dubai tightens entry rules for foreigners

Dubai authorities have decided to tighten the entry rules for foreign tourists in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. The press service of the government of the emirate wrote about this on Twitter.

From January 31, 2021, those arriving in Dubai will have to show a certificate with a negative PCR test for COVID-19, made no earlier than 72 hours before departure. Until the specified date, the results of tests performed 96 hours before the trip are accepted.

It is noted that tourists from a number of countries can also expect additional testing already in place.

Earlier, the Bulgarian authorities said it was necessary for those entering the country to provide a negative test for coronavirus, taken 72 hours before arrival.

Bulgarian citizens and residence permit holders crossing the border without tests are required to undergo a 10-day quarantine.
