The DPRK Foreign Ministry recommended that foreign states call the country’s leader Kim Jong-un the chairman of state affairs, the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang reports on its Facebook page.
The DPRK Foreign Ministry explains that the official translation of the title of the highest public office into Russian is the chairman of state affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Earlier, Kim Jong-un announced his intention to develop relations with Russia and China. The DPRK leader also noted that the country will continue to develop its nuclear arsenal. At the same time, the politician called the United States the main enemy of North Korea. In his opinion, Washington’s policy towards Pyongyang will remain unchanged regardless of who heads the US administration.
