The Dota 2 computer multiplayer team game was developed by Valve Corporation. The game was released in July 2013.
Nowadays, the game is included in the list of e-sports disciplines in which teams of professionals from around the world compete in various tournaments. Premium Dota 2 tournaments with prize pools of millions of dollars have been the largest in esports history.
