The head of the law firm Dobrovinsky and Partners, Alexander Dobrovinsky, said that on February 26, the investigation will hold a confrontation between Yana Rudkovskaya and the editor-in-chief of StarHit magazine in the case of libel against the son of the producer and figure skater Evgeny Plushenko, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the lawyer.
In May 2020, an article appeared on the magazine’s website that Plushenko Jr. allegedly suffers from Asperger’s syndrome. In November, Rudkovskaya and Dobrovinsky announced the initiation of a libel case.
In an interview with the agency, Dobrovinsky called the article “false” and noted that its authors refer to anonymous experts. “This meeting will help the investigation find the customer for this libel, which we have known for a long time,” the lawyer said.
Earlier, Plushenko’s son Alexander underwent two psychological examinations for the presence of Asperger’s syndrome, which showed that the child does not have any mental disorders.
Asperger’s Syndrome is a lifelong disorder that results in marked difficulties in social communication, perception of the world around us, and stereotypical, repetitive interests and activities.
Alexander Plushenko is known on the Internet as the Gnome Gnomych, 790,000 followers are subscribed to his Instagram.
