People’s Artist of Russia, widow of actor Andrei Myagkov Anastasia Voznesenskaya died due to the effects of COVID-19. The cause of death was revealed in KP.RU according to a source in health care.
It became known that on December 20, 2021, the actress passed a test for a coronavirus infection, the result of which was positive. For several weeks, Voznesenskaya struggled unsuccessfully with the disease. On Friday, January 14, Anastasia Voznesenskaya died.
Anastasia Voznesenskaya was born on July 27, 1943 in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Art Theater School, where she met her classmate Andrei Myagkov. In 1965, after graduating from the Studio School, Voznesenskaya was accepted into the troupe of the Sovremennik Theater. Later, she moved to the Moscow Art Theater, and after the split of the cultural institution, to the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. Voznesenskaya is also known for such films as “Major Whirlwind”, “Garage”, “Station for Two” and “Accident – Cop’s Daughter”.
