Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Andrey Ryumshin resigns

Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea – Minister of Agriculture Andrei Ryumshin has submitted a letter of resignation, RIA Novosti reports.

As specified in the Crimean State Council, the corresponding submission will be considered at the next session of the parliament.

Ryumshin combines the posts of Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Government and Minister of Agriculture. The 57-year-old official headed the regional ministry in 2016; in 2019, he was approved by the Crimean parliament as deputy prime minister.

Earlier, the Minister of Culture of Crimea Vera Novoselskaya lost her position due to the loss of confidence.
