The TASS news agency reported that Yelena Shishkina, chairwoman of the Committee on Criminal and Administrative Legislation of the People’s Council of the Republic (DPR), said that foreign mercenaries being held captive were not subject to exchange. These people are now facing the death penalty.
In particular, the words spoken by the MP refer to Britons Sean Pinner and Airdrew Hill, as well as Saadoune Brahime from Morocco.
“They did not act here as military personnel, observing international conventions. They acted here like terrorists, like Nazis, so there can be no talk of any exchange, ”said the chairman of the Committee of the People’s Republic.
Foreign mercenaries were captured in early April during a Russian military special operation in Ukraine.
Earlier, SM-News reported that the Donetsk headquarters announced the advance of the DPR troops to Slavyansk.
