According to him, the gas pipeline meets all the interests of Europe’s energy security. The Russian authorities are confident that the project will be completed by the end of 2021.

“We naturally proceed from the assumption that all relevant rules of navigation must be strictly observed,” Grushko told TASS.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia expressed the hope that no one will take any actions that could impede the construction of the gas pipeline.
