Daniil Medvedev reached the final of the Australian Open, beating Tsitsipas

Russian Daniil Medvedev defeated Tsitsipas in the semifinals of the Australian Open Grand Slam tournament.

Medvedev beat the Greek with a score of 6: 4, 6: 2, 7: 5.

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas previously won a ticket to the semifinals, beating Spaniard Rafael Nadal with a score of 3: 6, 2: 6, 7: 6 (7: 4), 6: 4, 7: 5. Medvedev beat another Russian in the quarter-finals, Andrei Rublev, who is in eighth place in the ATP ranking.

In the final on February 21, the Russian will play with the first racket of the world Novak Djokovic.
