Due to the worsening epidemiological situation, the Czech government has banned foreign citizens from staying in the country, except for those who study, work or have a residence permit in the republic, Czech TV reports.
From January 30 to February 14, the presence of foreigners in the Czech Republic is prohibited. The exception is those who have a temporary or permanent residence permit in the country.
It is noted that over the past two weeks in the Czech Republic, the increase in the daily number of new patients with COVID-19 has begun again.
Earlier it was reported that in the Czech Republic vaccination against COVID-19 may be suspended due to lack of doses. The Ministry of Health of the country has recommended to stop the primary vaccination of citizens for two weeks. The country has already suspended registration for those wishing to be vaccinated. So far, only citizens over 80 years old and doctors involved in the first line of the fight against infection can get vaccinated.
