CSKA did not renew contracts with Onopko and Ovchinnikov

CSKA President Evgeny Giner said that the team will not change head coach Viktor Goncharenko after Viktor Onopko and Sergei Ovchinnikov left his team.

According to the Bobsoccer portal, on December 29, the club announced its decision not to renew contracts with coaches Onopko and Ovchinnikov. Both specialists were part of Goncharenko’s coaching staff. Onopko has worked at CSKA since 2009, and Ovchinnikov since 2014.

According to Giner, on January 17 CSKA will go to the training camp under the guidance of the head coach.
