Crews not vaccinated against COVID-19 may be banned from going to sea

Rosrybolovstvo plans to send a proposal to Rospotrebnadzor to allow only those crews vaccinated against the new coronavirus to go to sea, TASS reports.

According to the department, the introduction of this measure will significantly reduce the costs of companies for testing and compulsory observation of crews. The first to be vaccinated will be the crews of the Rosrybolovstvo vessels, rescue teams and research vessels.

Meanwhile, Russia has begun registration of the third coronavirus vaccine, which was created by the Chumakov Center.

Experts note: if at least 60 percent of Russians are vaccinated, then collective immunity to coronavirus in the country can be developed already in the first half of 2021.

Earlier it was reported about a decrease in the incidence of coronavirus in the Russian Federation. Recall that on January 20, the country revealed the minimum number of people infected with coronavirus infection since November – 21,152. 597 deaths were recorded.
