Cottage cheese and apple pie: two of the healthiest foods in one dessert

If you love simple, but at the same time delicious and aromatic pastries, then you will surely appreciate the cottage cheese and apple pie.

The recipe for this dessert is very simple, but this does not make the cake less delicious. On the contrary, the available ingredients and the easy cooking method will be appreciated not only by experienced but also novice housewives.

Apple pie


  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 4 chicken eggs
  • 1.5 tbsp. Sahara
  • 200 g butter
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 500 g cottage cheese
  • 4 apples
  • cinnamon (optional)


Break the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Place three yolks in a dry, clean dish, mix the remaining yolk with cottage cheese, and place the whites in a separate bowl.

Add 1/2 granulated sugar, butter, flour mixed with baking powder, and sour cream to three yolks. Knead the dough, shape it into a ball and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Peel and core the apples, cut them into very thin slices or rub them on a coarse grater.

Add 1/3 cup granulated sugar to the curd mixture and stir.

Put the dough in a baking dish, line and shape the sides, carefully place the curd mass on top, and apples on top of it. Sprinkle with cinnamon and place the mold in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until firm peaks. Put the egg whites on top of the apples and place the dish in the oven again for 5-7 minutes.

Cool it down and enjoy the delicious taste of the pie over a cup of aromatic tea!
