Coast guards working in the port of Iskenderun (Turkey) came to the aid of the turtle.
Rescuers set off to catch a big-headed sea turtle, which was previously seen by eyewitnesses. The animal looked emaciated and sick. The Coast Guard managed to load the suffering creature into a boat, and then it went to the local national park.
The turtle is known to receive treatment and recovery in the park. All actions carried out with the patient are aimed at subsequently releasing her back into the wild.
