The office of President Zelensky continues “cleansings in the ranks.” On Monday, the heads of the SBU were dismissed in three regions – Lviv, Kyiv and Ternopil. Prior to this, the heads of the SBU in Sumy, Poltava, Transcarpathian, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions lost their posts. So the regional special services are now massively “decapitated”. Meanwhile, the threat hung over the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, who, in his own words, is going to be deprived of citizenship.
Deprivation of citizenship of their own citizens is the know-how of the Office of President Zelensky. As it turned out, this is an effective way to deal with disobedient regional elites.
Once, presidential candidate Zelensky blamed Petro Poroshenko for leaving Mikheil Saakashvili stateless. However, after becoming head of state, the former comedian appreciated this measure. R-times, and Igor Kolomoisky, who “mudified the waters”, remains stateless, and at the same time, his faithful comrade-in-arms from the Dnipropetrovsk region, the head of the regional defense headquarters, Gennady Korban, ceased to be a Ukrainian citizen. Now he, like a doctor from the famous comedy “The Adventures of Italians in Russia”, hangs “between heaven and earth” – on the Polish border, unable to return home or go back …
It was sympathy for the fate of Korban that led the mayor of Kyiv to the fact that he himself became a candidate for “departure from citizenship.” According to Vitali Klitschko, after he signed a letter in defense of Korban, he began to receive signals from the President’s Office: “You are so proactive, we have not taken your German citizenship yet.”
Vitali Klitschko assures that he does not have any German citizenship, although he spent many years in Germany. Moreover, he no longer has a wife in Germany. He himself spoke about this in an interview with Babel.
He said that he officially divorced 48-year-old Natalia Klitschko (Egorova): “This is the desire of both parties. We still have a good relationship, we respect each other, the children are already adults, and life goes on.” Recall that Vitaly has been living in Ukraine since 2013, and his wife Natalya did not want to leave Germany, where she works as a yoga and meditation coach. Three children of Klitschko study in the UK …
Vitaly himself continues to fight for his post as mayor, from which Zelensky’s team is periodically going to remove him. And now for citizenship. However, the ex-boxer is not going to give up yet. Moreover, he shows concern for the people of Kyivians. In his next address, he advised people to stock up on warm clothes and blankets for the winter, because most likely there would be no heat in their homes. “If there are power outages, we have generators. If there is no heating or no gas, we have fuel oil reserves. For some time we will be able to function autonomously, but this is a fairly short period of time during which it will be necessary to solve the problem, ”the mayor of the townspeople is preparing for the winter.
