Observers have not yet identified violations during the electoral process, the mission said.

“Elections in Uzbekistan are held openly, no obstacles are created for observers,” the statement said.

As the CEC of Uzbekistan previously reported, the turnout in the presidential elections in the first hour of voting was more than 12%. There are five candidates running for the post of head of state. There are more than nine thousand polling stations in the republic. More than a thousand international observers are watching the electoral process.
