Chocolate Quiche Recipe

Today we propose to bake an unusual and delicious pie in the shape of a volcano. Beneath its slopes, a whole lake of delicate custard spreads out of porous chocolate biscuit. And from above, streams of molten chocolate “lava” flow down onto it.

Sweet “Volcano” turns out to be so tasty that you will love it from the first bite, so tender that it literally melts in your mouth, and so spectacular that it will give odds to any cake.

It is not difficult to prepare this delicacy, it is baked together with cream. Feel free to cook Vulcan pie with custard for any festive table, your guests will appreciate this dessert at its true worth!

Pie “Volcano”

Ingredients for the custard:

  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 700 g milk
  • 70 g starch
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g butter

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 320 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g of kefir
  • 100 g vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp. l. cocoa
  • 20 g baking powder
  • melted chocolate for decoration
  • split baking dish

Ingredients for sour cream:

  • 320 g sour cream
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 120 g sugar

Preparation:

  1. To make the custard, combine eggs and sugar in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
  2. Add vanilla sugar and stir.
  3. Add starch and, without ceasing to stir, pour in milk.
  4. Put the saucepan on the fire and bring the mixture to a boil. As soon as the cream gurgles for the first time, remove from heat, add butter, stir until it dissolves and cover the cream with cling film.
  5. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl to make the biscuit dough. Add kefir and vegetable oil to them.
  6. Add sifted cocoa, sifted flour and baking powder. Knead the dough.
  7. Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Lubricate it with the remnants of vegetable oil.
  8. Pour the dough into a mold, smooth the surface with a spoon, then put the cream cake volcano in the center of the dough step by step
  9. Send the form to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40 minutes.
  10. In the meantime, you can prepare sour cream. To do this, mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl until smooth.
  11. Remove the form from the baked pie, put it on the dish, and then put on the ring again so that it is more convenient to soak with sour cream.
  12. Pour sour cream over the hot pie, let it stand to absorb the cream, and pour over it again.
  13. Melt the chocolate in a bowl and garnish the top with streams of chocolate lava.
  14. The Vulcan chocolate cake is ready. Enjoy your meal!
