The head coach of the Russian national football team Stanislav Cherchesov said that the team spent two different halves in the match of the fourth round of the group stage of the League of Nations against rivals from Hungary, TASS reports.
“To some extent I agree that we had two different halves,” he said and noted that at first the Hungarian athletes were “fresh” and resisted, but in the second half the Russians looked physically better and intensified their attack.
“The second half was held under our dictation. We created a lot of chances, ”the coach added and expressed regret that they had not been realized.
Cherchesov noted that the Russian national team was getting ready to win.
