British Foreign Secretary May Visit Moscow – Times

British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss plans to pay a working visit to Moscow, the Times reports, citing a source in the British government.

According to the interlocutor of the publication, such a visit could take place as early as early February.

“A lot has to happen for the trip to take place, but Liz is passionate about the idea of such a visit and will seriously consider making it,” he said.

At the same time, another source of the publication denied this information, saying that at the moment preparations for the minister’s trip to Moscow are not being carried out.

Note that the heads of the British Foreign Office have not visited Russia since December 2017. Then Boris Johnson came to the country, who currently heads the government of the United Kingdom.

Recall that earlier British Security Secretary Damian Hinds called Russia, China and Iran “hostile countries.”
