British Transport Minister Grant Shapps said that the country’s authorities intend to detain any Russian aircraft that finds itself in the airspace of the kingdom, TASS reports.
“I have made it a criminal offense for any Russian aircraft to enter UK airspace, now Her Majesty’s Government can detain these aircraft,” he explained.
Earlier, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson emphasized that NATO member countries do not experience hostility towards the Russians and do not question the greatness of the country.
It also became known that Johnson and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation. They discussed arms supplies to Ukraine.
