British boxer Umar Sadik needed urgent medical attention after being defeated by Russian Fyodor Chudinov, TASS reports.
As previously reported, Chudinov knocked out the Briton in a fight for the WBA gold belt in the second middleweight title. The fight took place in Khimki near Moscow on Friday, September 11.
After the battle, Sadik did not orient himself in space. Doctors provided him with prompt medical assistance. In addition, the athlete required an oxygen mask.
It is known that Sadik also became ill during doping control. After that, an ambulance was called for the boxer.
