State Duma deputy Alexander Borodai said that Russia withdrew its troops from the Kharkov region, since there were not enough personnel in this territory.
According to him, the lack of manpower is one of the main factors that led to a “rather unpleasant defeat,” writes Ukraina.ru.
Borodai argues that the format of the “military special operation” does not allow the use of all resources, and martial law has not been declared in the country.
“This is purely a volunteer war for us. … With the exception of the people’s militia corps of the DPR and LPR, the power structures of the republics of Donbass. … It is obvious that in such a serious and cruel Special Military Operation, God forgive me, in such a tough regime of intense hostilities, finding hundreds of thousands of volunteers who will willingly climb to the front line is not such an easy task, ”said Borodai.
According to him, the fact that martial law has not been declared in Russia because of the conflict that the Russian Federation began on February 24 by sending its troops to the territory of Ukraine is serious about the possibility of attracting those liable for military service to participate in a “military special operation”.
The mobilization announced in Russia will make it possible to increase the Russian contingent on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the State Duma adopted laws that toughen the responsibility for those who try to illegally evade mobilization.
