Migrants, who have been living on the Polish-Belarusian border for a week, turned to doctors with ARVI symptoms for help. RIA Novosti was informed about this by the representative of the Grodno border detachment Nadezhda Masevich.
She said that most often refugees complain of coughing and sneezing. Children also have ARVI symptoms. Doctors who are on the spot provide assistance to illegal immigrants.
More than two thousand migrants have been on the Polish-Belarusian border since November 8. They set up a spontaneous camp near the Bruzgi checkpoint in the Grodno region. The Polish security forces do not allow refugees to pass because they do not consider them as such. Migrants are still trying to get past the barriers. In Poland, they say that the number of illegal immigrants on the Belarusian side reaches 3.5 thousand. According to the security officials, there are women and children there, but the majority of the migrant group consists of men.
