US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Washington is ready to assist in the implementation of the Minsk agreements, since they should contribute to the settlement of the conflict in Donbass.
According to him, the way to overcome differences in eastern Ukraine lies through these agreements.
At the same time, the diplomat said that Kiev as a whole has fulfilled or is doing most of what is required of it within the framework of the agreements, RIA Novosti reports.
The Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that Ukraine not only does not comply with the Minsk agreements, but also sent half of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Donbass. In addition, Moscow is concerned about the supply of weapons to Kiev by Western countries and the transfer of NATO military equipment to the Russian borders.
Earlier, the authorities of the self-proclaimed DPR announced attempts to recruit residents of the region by the Ukrainian special services.
