Blinken called the company from the Russian Federation a “source of goods” for the DPRK’s missile program

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said the Russian firm Parsec was a “key source” of goods and technology for North Korean missiles, Interfax reports.

“The procurement and supply relationship between Oh Yong Ho, Roman Anatolevich Alar and Parsek LLC is a key source of goods and technologies applicable to missiles for the DPRK’s missile program,” he explained.

According to the US Foreign Office, from 2016 to 2021, Oh Yong Ho, on behalf of the DPRK’s missile program, purchased items applicable to missiles from third countries.

The day before, the United States imposed sanctions against Parsec and one Russian for ties to North Korea.

The US Treasury Department announced that the Parsec company, which is registered in Moscow, and Russian citizen Roman Alar, have been added to the sanctions list of the Office for Foreign Assets Control.
