Blinken announced the readiness of the United States and NATO to continue the dialogue with Russia

Washington and NATO are ready for further dialogue with Moscow. The corresponding statement on his Twitter page was made by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

Blinken on Friday, January 14, held telephone conversations with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, discussing with him the meeting of the Russia-NATO Council that took place this week.

“The United States and NATO are united and ready for further mutual dialogue with Russia,” the Secretary of State wrote after a conversation with Stoltenberg.

Recall that bilateral talks between Russia and the United States took place in Geneva last Monday. On January 12, a meeting of the Russia-NATO Council was held in Brussels, and on January 13, negotiations in the Russia-OSCE format ended in Vienna.

Currently, Moscow is waiting for written statements from opponents on the past negotiations, after which a final analysis of the meetings will be given.
