The United States administration does not consider itself entitled to draw conclusions about the origin of the new type of coronavirus. Jake Sullivan, the adviser to the President of the United States on national security, said this on Sunday on the CBS television channel.
“I’m in a wrong position, and the Joe Biden administration is not in a position to infer exactly where COVID-19 came from,” he said.
According to Sullivan, China has allegedly not shown enough openness about the spread of the pandemic.
Also, Biden’s adviser called on Beijing and the World Health Organization to actively investigate the causes of the coronavirus.
Recall that earlier Sullivan also demanded that China provide information on early cases of COVID-19. In his opinion, this is necessary to better understand the current pandemic and prepare for the next.
