US President Joe Biden spoke with relatives of African American George Floyd, who died last year. This was announced on Twitter by White House spokesman Jen Psaki.
According to her, the head of state, during a conversation with the family of the deceased, asked how they were doing and said that he had prayed for them.
George Floyd died at the end of May last year after police officer Derek Chauvin used a choke hold during his arrest. He was charged with manslaughter.
The trial began on March 8, 2021. At the hearing, Shovin refused to testify. Note that on the first day of the trial, the jury was unable to deliver a verdict.
