United States President Joe Biden had a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, RIA Novosti reports.
During the conversation, the American leader announced his intention to “consult and work with allies on the entire spectrum of common security concerns, including Afghanistan, Iraq and Russia.”
In doing so, Biden stressed the importance of shared consultation and capacity to contain and counter new emerging threats, including climate change and global health security.
Also, the head of the White House thanked Stoltenberg for his “reliable leadership of the alliance.”
We will remind that earlier the new head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin held talks with the head of the British Department of Defense Ben Wallace. The parties discussed the topic of confrontation with the PRC and “threats emanating from Russia.”
