Biden appreciated the G20 summit

US President Joseph Biden said that the G20 summit has made progress in the fight against global challenges – the pandemic, the economic crisis and climate problems, RIA Novosti reports.

“It has been a challenging year, marked by enormous global challenges, of which the pandemic is critical,… continued economic recovery and the fight against the climate crisis. I believe that we have made tangible progress on each of these issues, in particular because of the intention to achieve this, with which we sat down at the negotiating table of the United States, ”he said.

Earlier, United States President Joe Biden expressed the opinion that Washington should cooperate with Moscow. As an example of areas where the interests of states coincide, the American leader cited the fight against climate change.

It is noted that now air pollution from burning fossil fuels leads to the premature death of 7 million people every year. Also, anthropogenic impact on the climate provokes storms, floods and heat.
