Belarusian singer detained in Moscow: Minsk demands the extradition of Agurbash

Singer Angelica Agurbash was taken to the Moscow police department. They are going to extradite her to Belarus. At home, she faces 15 years in prison in a criminal case, according to a source.

Singer Angelica Agurbash, who is on the wanted list in Belarus, was detained in Moscow. At the moment she is at the police station, interrogated by law enforcement officers, the source said.

In Belarus, a criminal case has been opened against the singer on charges of inciting hatred and insults against President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. For this she faces up to 15 years in prison.

It should be noted that this is not the first arrest of the artist. In September 2020, she already fell into the hands of law enforcement officers in connection with her participation in the action near the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow.

Earlier, the Belarusian singer herself told about her wanted list on social networks. She also said that Belarus is demanding her extradition.
