Many people were detained during the nighttime protests in Belarus. Russians were among the crowd disagreeing with the election results.
The Belarusian state agency BelTA has released a video that was made during the interrogation of the detainees at the protests. Some of them admitted that they are Russian citizens.
The young people said that they came to Belarus "for tourist purposes." One of the detainees even gave the name of the sanatorium where he had rested the last days. Perhaps law enforcement officers "tied" the Russians together with the protesters by accident, because the previously published footage from the protests shows how the security forces twisted everyone's hands indiscriminately.
Meanwhile, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who fled to Lithuania, calls on the Belarusians who disagree with the election results to observe the laws. The oppositionist asked citizens to no longer go out into the streets and not organize protests. People close to the presidential candidate are sure that she was pressured.
Let us remind you that Alexander Lukashenko won the presidential elections with 80.23% of the vote. Svetlana Tikhanovskaya was supported by only 9.90% of voters. The turnout was 84.23%, which made the President of the country very happy.
