Belarus intends to supply 2.3 million tons of oil through the ports of the Russian Federation

The head of the Belneftekhim concern, Andrei Rybakov, spoke about the intentions of Belarus to supply oil products through the Russian Federation in excess of the expected indicators. BelTA informs about it on Monday.

Rybakov said that Minsk plans to ship at least 2.3 million tons of oil products through Russian ports by the end of this year. This is 35 percent higher than the target.

“We have already reoriented our supplies to the ports of the Russian Federation,” said the chairman of the concern. He stressed that Belarus does not abandon the monitoring of the Baltic direction and, if necessary, is ready to work there as well.

Last week, the presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus signed a decree of the Union State approving 28 union programs approved in September, as well as the main directions for the implementation of the Treaty on the creation of the SG for 2021-2023.

At the same time, Vladimir Putin said that oil and gas issues are causing disputes between Russia and Belarus, however, very serious progress has been achieved in this area.
